2003 vdp transponder key

2003 vdp transponder key

Is this key strictly a dealer item? 2003 vdp

They quoted a total of $225 to make a key.

As for a 1998(moms) vdp, is that also a TP key?

not really, you can buy the blanks off eBay and have them cut from your key, also the transponder code from the original loaded to the new key's transponder, you'd need to find a locksmith, key cutting shop that could do this? referring to your Mom's, yes it's the same.

Here in US, it was nearly impossible to find any locksmith that could do my key, they all said the same thing, "dealer".

Never found anyone to program the new key. They said the software is not released outside of Jaguar dealers.
