2005 Vanden Plas
"Gearbox Fault" light just went on in my '05 Vander Plas with 70K miles. Any suggestions on how to manage this item? Is this light telling me I'll need a new transmission soon? Is the dealer the best place to go?

Not sure, but you have posted on the wrong sub forum, you need to post on the X358/X358 forum, the people on there have the same modle car as you and know far more about them than us with the older XJ s.
