Arrow Xkr 2005 JRC in LA

Hi all,
For sale this gorgeous XKR 2005 Jaguar Racing Green, 101000 miles, handling package.
I believe it is now one of the best color combo possible, of course this is very subjective.
I changed few bits in the interior so it matches my expectations.
When I arrived in US I first searched for this coupe in this color, it took me 3 yrs to find.
In the mean time I bought an xk8 convertible, now I can say I kind of know the x100.
If I had enough room I would not sell it for sure, it's a lot of car for the money.
Especially with the idea to take it with me once back to Europe (must be a wonderful experience on French Alps roads…)
But I also found my classic baby that needs more of my time, and money

So, 3rd owner, had it since 3 yrs, driven for about 15Kmiles, mostly week-end in the closed Sta Monica mountains since the 8 is my daily.
And few trips to Frisco on the 1, Sequoia park, Yosemite etc, never any issue, never left me alone in the desert
Always fully maintained at an indy shop, classic specialist (kept all records, from previous owner as well).
Never even considered not changing anything if requested.
He saw it at least twice a year for oil change + other details.
Never felt the need for a performance upgrade, 400hp is way more than enough in CA.
No exhaust kit, no pulley upgrade etc, this car engine is 100% Jag specs since the begining.
The supercharge is a blessing, the throttle response is marvelous.

Mechanically, by previous owner (he is a Jag mechanic / main reason why I took this one):
- upgraded rear sway bar, firmer for less understeer
- custom plug in the diff for easy flush
- aftermarket cooling hoses (replaced since)
By me:
- new battery, new tyres, Michelin pilot sport
- flushed everything, cooling, braking, engine including transmission and diff
- changed few bushings, engine mount, many hoses etc
- had to change the main radiator because of a worn thread due to an aftermarket hose (very bad idea)
I could have only fixed it but preferred the piece of mind for this critical part.
- new front rotors last year, non drilled not needed in sunny CA and I don't race.
- new intercooler pump / new water pump
- On pics you'll see the engine as it everyday, not detailed I hate when they do that.
Have all the bills, that I prefer not to count...

Interior:
Original was pretty dull in full oatmeal/cashmere, so I changed to:
- black carpets
- black leather on top of doors, black vinyl on top of dash and kick panels.
The leather part is a long story, I first used leather on dash too, was pretty cool.
But LA sun killed it in 1 year (like for x150) so I just changed it again for the sale, vinyl this time.
The match is very good, and piece of mind again.
Still, everything "touchable" is leather.
- replaced the original GPS by the famous 3 gauges kit and new wood veneer with real alu rings. They should never have installed the gps in this beauty, who wants to come home early in this car?
- new rear parcel shelf cover (didn't like the sun too), and now it matches the headliner color (headliner replaced just before I bought it)
- full black leather steering wheel
- 12v acc in the glove box (pro instal like original option with relay etc)
- black speaker cover
- wanted to replace the knob but didn't find a nice black "R" one yet…
- leather is cleaned and oiled with Lexol frequently, driver seat show some wears, other ones are perfect.
- I've had quite some upgrades on the audio system (another passion), for the sale I putted back all stocks speakers.
Only part of sound deadening is still in the doors and the floor (feels even quieter).
- there is one crack in the wood varnish, noticeable only on few angles (see pic)

Body:
- paint is awesome, changed depending of the angle, the time of the day, from almost mat like a BRG, to a bright and shiny metal flake (reasonable haha)
- absolutely no dents
- some "scratches" on the hood. My mechanic told me it's totally removable with a full polish (but I don't like polish)
- removed the glass tint, even if it's quite needed in CA, I think it kills the body line.
- rims look like new

Spare parts:
- two complete rims, one front one rear, since they're so rare in new condition I wanted some piece of mind here too.
I replaced one in front because of a non-perfect outer ring, but the rim itself is perfect.
- one carbon fascia set w/ GPS, I'll include a Garmin GPS DIY kit to replace the original useless one.
If you prefer another wood set for GPS, I can include (or even instal) one instead of the carbon set, I just need one left for my 8
Both sets are not perfect, have some wears on 1 or 2 corners, but still pretty ok.
- Jaguar tool set box and its tray (to fix under the trunk panel, but never did)
- corner blocks kit for trunk luggages
- emergency kit
- touch paint kit for this color
- touch dye kit for the seats

Gorgeous car.

Curious about the dash covering, did you have to take the dash out to get it done or was it possible while still in the car?

Thank you ccfulton,

Yes we had to take out the entire dashboard,
I removed all the trim parts, well everything possible while keeping it driveable, then a pro did the rest.
It's a lot of time but nothing really complex.
Rafi did the job, he's an amazing man: Auto Upholstery Restoration Los Angeles | Car Classic Interiors
Beside my humble car were a 50's Ferrari, an XK120, and a db9 for a complete new dashboard (way worse than the x150 problem on dbs apparently)

Thanks all for your interest,
Nothing concrete so far, the car is still searching for a new home.
Price dropped to $16000 OBO with all spares.
Still less without them.
Cheers,
