Any collective wisdom regarding a cover for my X308? Parking lot at work has birds that seem to enjoy decorating the car....thanks!

 

http://amzn.to/2cpqlYa either go with this one, or if you had the car since new my dealer asked for a car cover. it is in a grey bag and covers the whole car and is very protected. I personally don't know if they sell it anymore but you can try to find it and call. but otherwise this one on amazon says it fits the xjr/xj8

 

um, don't do that! Those things are giant non-breathable shower curtains with a bad synthetic white fuzzy liner that scratches your paint. One of those ruined the paint on my XJS by allowing water under the seam and then wouldn't let it evaporate, another one abraded through the clear coat on my XJ6. You get what you pay for and if the price is too good to be true for the product, it probably is! I'm using a California car cover "storm proof" cover on my XJR-100, cost about $300, blocks 99% UV rays and most importantly it BREATHES!

"Budge" brand covers, $20 at Walmart. do a great job as a simple dust/protection cover, not waterproof, but fit well and work great for the price.

You can also wash them in the home machine if they get dirty.
