Default AC - Gotta hand it to the Brits

I've had Audis, multiple BMW's, an AMG and a Porsche and by a long shot this Jag has the best AC system. Hands down. It really amazes me every time I flip it on...seriously, I think I could raise penguins in there if I wanted to. Anyway, I know we bitch about these cars a lot but I wanted to give the Brits some props in the way of ice cold AC

Agreed, but it's very strange given the home climate. The AC is top notch, but the heat is only "adequate".

The heat in my jag is superb, even in negative temps if it is set to HI, have to turn the temp down after 10 mins or so.
Maybe its time to flush the cooling system in your car, or check the heater pump is not seized .

Ambient here can reach -35*F and I like toasty feet ... i mean *really* toasty. And I like to keep the windows cracked open for fresh air to the face.

In my experience, there are cars that can do this. The X308 is not one of them.

The Jaguar uses a Japanese HVAC unit -- Ford sourced.

The Germans have always had annoying HVAC units .. My Cayenne is better than most .. but it has needed three head units. I have never had a MB with a great AC unit .. same with any 911.

The Denso units are great .. and never need anything

plums, maybe you need to move away from the edge and a little bit nearer to the middle, its nearly always warmer in the middle, unless its an ice cube. lol
