Some yahoo turned in front of me when I was going 60mph in a 2003 XJR (Original airbags). They all deployed properly. This happened about 7 or 8 months ago. Since the car was built in 2002 the airbags were about 15 years old.

Not proof that they always last longer than 10 years, just one positive experience.

The only reason the insurance company totaled out the car was because of the expense of replacing the airbags; almost $1,500 each.
