I think that's a fair asking price. I got $15k for the one I sold with way more miles. It's a beautiful car, and my wife and I will each drive ours until the wheels fall off!

Yeah, I think so. I have meticulously maintained it. I love the car, I just don't have enough garage space and I have come across a '67 BJ8 Austin Healy 3000 for a great price and want to pull the trigger.

 

Is that Healey 3000 the one on BAT? It's a beautiful car. People who wouldn't even like a Healey would love it…it's stunning, and if that's the one I hope you get it!

Hi Ed- Yeah I saw that one on BAT. No, my BJ8 is a local car. The one on BAT claims it is all original I believe. However I believe mines in better shape. The one on BAT went for $48k. I got mine for $40k fully restored.

DJ Roy- Too funny that you shared that FB link. My car is the first one on that page. I am the President of the Jag Car Club of North Florida and we held a slalom. I was showing off for the St. Augustine Record and the guy caught the pic.

Killer 3000. You have a good eye. I think they changed the definition of original for the one on BAT but it's still nice. Interesting you are from Florida. Mine was originally sold and lived in Atlanta but I got it in Florida too. The other two are from the SF Bay Area.

Black Betty is not for sale. But, you have good taste. Last I knew there were only about 40 some still rolling. I wish you great success as they are awesome vehicles.

To this day, BBetty still turns heads and gets compliments whenever she's out of the garage. Youngsters always WOW and ask their parent(s) what the leaper is, then the parents just smile and nod approvingly thinking of what could have been, what could be.
