Default Battery;Long Term Storage

I have to put my .'02 XJR in long term storage....3-4 months. I will place a smart charger/tender/monitor on the battery, but I wonder if I should disconnect the battery from the car? I am concerned about all of the systems going "brain dead", particularly the emission computers/memory. I recently had to go through the "drive cycle" about five times to get the emissions systems in the "green" to pass the State inspection after changing the two fuel pumps. I don't want that headache again when I recommission the car after extended storage. So, leave the battery connected, or not? (The battery is about a year old, and I read the "Trickle charger" thread here on the forum). Thanks.

If you put a Battery Tender (product name) type device on it, it will maintain the balance voltage for you and you won't have to disconnect it unless you feel better about it personally. I travel extensively, 2 weeks to 2 months or so at a time, and I have never disconnected mine and the battery just rolled over 10 yrs using a Battery Tender.

Before putting her up, prompt the video link in my sig and take her for one last run.

I use CTEK on multiple cars including the X308 and I don't ever bother to disconnect the batteries. It'll be fine. But the computer memory is weird. I had the engine out for several months and obviously the battery disconnected during that time. Had to go through the drive cycles upon putting it back together, but the garage door opener buttons still worked.

Thank you, gents. I'll leave the battery attached to the car.
