Default Battery problems

I have been having problems with my battery draining like was in the previous forum. I always remove the ground cable from battery while I'm charging it. I've noticed when I put the ground cable back, it sparks and it starts draining the battery instantly. Can someone help me with this?

A spark when you reconnect is normal. The big question is whether the battery is self discharging, because of an internal fault, or being discharged by an external drain. You could use an ammeter to figure out which.

You're waking the car up. See what the draw is after 30-45mins when it's had a chance to sleep.
