Post BBS Montreal compatibility

Hey all,

Long time lurker, first time poster! I've scoured the forums and am pretty confident based on the information I've gathered but I want to be 110% sure. I own a 2002 XJR, will the 19" Montreal BBS rims be a direct fit for my car?

I've got a set I'm looking to purchase from someone but I want to be sure before I buy as getting stuck with a set of rims that don't fit would be a huge bummer!

Thanks for your help!

Yes they will, although you may wish to look into getting your rear guards rolled if you want to run proper width tyres, and you will also want to check clearance on the rear bump stops too. They can either be trimmed down, or removed, to avoid rubbing on the tyres

Thanks, glad to hear they will bolt up fine!

The width is on these Montreals is 8.5" compared to the Asteroid's 8". I've seen the Montreals come in 9" width as well which could be more of an issue.
Stock tires on the Asteroids is 255/40R18, I figured the Montreals would be 255/35R19 or is that the incorrect tire size for the Montreals?

Welcome lurker,
They're a direct will fit with no bodywork. That is the correct tire size for the 8.5" all round.

If they're 8.5 all round then those tyres would be perfect, and you won't have any clearance issues, and your speedometer will read the same, so no issues there either
