Car wont start after throttle body spray cleaned

Default Car wont start after throttle body spray cleaned

Not the first time i have done this clean routine but i do admit i might sprayed too much. Not sure if i wet ssomething like the spark plugs. Will it get dry up later?

What exactly did you spray in there?

I'd also never recommend spraying anything inside the throttle body just for the reason you're going thru. I would spray on a rag and open the butterfly valve and wipe the inside of it instead.

I would guess that an electrical connector or part of the intake plenum is not replaced correctly.

Let it dry; hold the pedal all the way to the floor, crank 3 times in short bursts, let up and crank normally. It will sputter, start, and clean up. Next time be gentle, more is not always better.

of course I only sprayed the throttle body cleanser.

almost 2 days now and it still doesn't fire up

I'd pull the plugs and dry them out then do a hard reset.

And while the plugs are out put about a half teaspoon oil in each cylinder, place old towels on top and crank it for a couple of seconds to coat the cylinders. The put the plugs back in and start it.

You washed the oil from the cylinder walls resulting in low compression. Do a search under bore wash.
