Default Chime speaker ?

The chime speaker that sounds the turn signal & lights on alert etc. Where is it located & what are it's dimensions/specs. If not too much of an ordeal I'd like to replace mine.

Thanks

It's been a few years and I've slept many times since, but I remember this being a no-brainer. On the steering column, look for the little cluster of holes - these are directly on top of the speaker more or less. Remove the bottom cover? of the column, (and maybe the top... not hard, a few screws I recall), and you'll see the speaker there.

Mine was kaput too, so I just used another one I re-purposed from a busted toy keyboard I think it was... but any small speaker about the same size will work.. just cut the wires and solder the replacement on. I may not have mounted it back in place... don't recall if it was mounted or not. Test it before you button it back up.

Not a lick of trouble from it since. I probably found better instruction on this forum, so a search should get that for you need it.
