What does everyone recommend to use for cleaning out a gas tank? I have a 1998 XJ8 and it has been sitting in a garage for about 7 years now. The gas tank was about half full of old gas. I have removed the tank to replace the fuel lines, and I need someone's advice on the cleaners to use to get all of the crap out of it.

I've used Colman lantern fuel to break down gummy fuel lines in the past, kinder on the environment than most hydrocarbon based cleaners and easy to get hold of. Brake cleaner is the same stuff.
