Clicking from Driver side

Exclamation Clicking from Driver side

i noticed a ticking noise when the car was at idle, so i removed the cam cover, and started turning the crank, then i started hearing a click, right at the top, i dont what to do at this point, help please!!!

i think the only smart thing to do is, take off the timing cover, and see whats going on down there

Absolutely - don't want to run it like that.

I'm notoriously bad at identifying sounds in video clips (!) but it reminds me of the sound of a broken chain tensioner blade.

well ill see how much time i have this weekend to work on the cat, i also brew my own beer as well, and is in need of being bottled

ive got to bottle a batch of English Brown Ale, and start a batch of Irish Red Ale

Sounds bad. U can actually see the chain jerk when u hear the pop.

Do you think is a tensioner issue, or maybe even that vvt gear?

If the chain and the gear wheel aren't damaged I'd bet on the tensioner. A properly tight chain wouldn't jerk or jump.
