so i was poking around under the bonnet. i have a xj8. i noticed that my jag has factory cold air induction but it seems like the part that goes through the fender is kinda small. so my thoughts are these: adapting a metal tube welded at a local shop and secured to the lower side off the air box; the fender opening enlarged and sealed maybe to get some ram air going too. another thought i had is that the opposite fender has the same rubber gromet minus the tube at the same location. im wondering if a super charged dual cold air intake would work but i am concerned about the dual mass air sensors and if this is even do able..... i do think the intake could be improved, but am skeptical about the amount of yield of hp vs $ and time
