Default Color code SDZ- Second interior tone.

Hi Group.

I have SDZ (Cashmere) color code for the interior of my XJ 4.0.

However, the steering wheel and dashboard top have a darker, more "brownish" color tone. Does anybody know the color code for this second tone? I have searched all over but no clear answer.

The leather on my steering wheel is getting a bit worn and I would like to get the correct dye for fixing this.

Thank you in advance.

Most likely SABLE.

Bought 2 small repair kits (65ml each) for my Ivory and sable from the below guy.
The Ivory was a perfect match, the steering wheel needed itsy pitsy adjustment, which is easy as each kit is supplied with 2 smaller bottles, one to lighten up, one to darken the color a bit.

+1 eric, there are a few options as eric has shown. Also, don't be afraid to see an upholsterer and ask a price for dying it. You may be pleasantly surprised (as I was with mine) or flat out floored (like I was until I found the right guy to do mine). The first pic says a year on the description, but its been almost 3 yrs now and looks the same. In the second one, where the armrest comes down, someone had spilt an red icee type drink and stained it, ..its all gone now. The steering wheel was done as well, so if your only doing that, it may be the same cost by an upholsterer shop? I had the whole interior redeyed and 4 panels on the front seats replaced (torn and worn) for $800 US. Erics option is obviously much cheaper and personally satisfying.

Had the interior redone over a year ago.

Great pictures and good replies.

These guys have kits and dye with Jaguar color codes: https://www.furnitureclinic.co.uk/Jaguar_Leather_Colour_Chart.php

I guess I have to buy some samples and try it out. Thanks again.

Input requested, a couple years ago I ordered mats in "Beige" I now notice how off they are compared to the OEM carpet. The other choice I have is "Taupe" which I feel is much closer to the SDZ colorway.

Below is the difference I'm speaking on.
