The colour code on my 2000 xj8 has been erased from the label which is at the front of the engine compartment. Is there any way, other than comparing different paint samples, that I can trace the original colour code as I need to get a couple of scratches attended to.
It would appear by initial sight, that it is probably Sapphire blue, or Westminster blue, but I'd like to be sure before buying the paint!!

Any Jaguar Dealer can look up the Paint and Trim codes from your VIN.
