Default Coolant Specs (for makeup)

Pentofrost SF (Si Free?), part # 3114107, suitable for AJ-V8 ('97-03), cast Alum. block. Meets ASTM 3306, requires 50/50 mix with water (de-ion, or distilled???). My existing coolant is the "Orange." BUT, small leak(?, no evidence) gets periodic make-up, perhaps a "splash" to restore level "to fill neck" every few thousand miles. Believe this product is pink (Oooo, how UN-Growler), so gonna add with my eyes closed. Sold by Advance Auto (US), I "think" in 1L/Qt volume. Thinking ahead, I see UOR coolant reservoir (OE spec) for $114 (US). Any advice on "changing out" without losing existing inventory, while maintaining "solid" system???

I believe the recommended product for 1997-2003 X308s is the Pentofrost SF (product #8114107/601108129).

Available from most autoparts stores at around $13.50 per 1.5 liter, just dilute 50/50 with distilled water.

It's what I used when I flushed my 2001 VDP

Yep, that appears to confirm my previous. Haven't bought product, so my $$$ and Vol are a bit "off." Sorry
