Hi can any one advise me what suspension,is fitted to a 1998 daimler super v8.Is it comfort with the black dampers/ or sports with the green dampers uk spec.As im about 85% through converting a normal Daimler v8 into a super v8 version,and want to use the correct suspension set up.I currently have the comfort suspension with the CATS option.Any advice would be greatley recieved

 

I have a UK spec 1999 Super V8 which originally had green (sport) CATS shocks. Due to failure of the front ones, I recently replaced all of them with (genuine Jag) black comfort CATS shocks. Did not really notice much difference. I read somewhere that the difference between sport and comfort is actually rather small. Otherwise, I believe that sport or comfort was a choice when ordering.

 

i just slid my vdp sc into a curb, gonna drop the suspension and might convert to normal shocks. it has the black electronic touring shocks, there’s basically no difference between sport and regular mode.

if super V8s had green cats they might have rear sway bars too
