I went for straight pipe in the middle and it was relatively raw louse but in the cabinet with window close it was not so bad.

I noticed some sort of power gain at high RPM but in the contrast I felt like the car accelerated slower from still

I went for straight pipe and my XJR makes some raw noise but if I close the window,it was very acceptable but it sounds like an old american musel car

I see some power gain at high RPM but in contrast it seems the acceletration was "softer" if I may describe it

Did installation of the xpipe throw any Check Engine lights? A friend of mine did the same and after installation is getting a P1647 - o2 or lambda sensor code. Any thoughts?

No codes when I did mine (XJR). Possibly the installation has left a leak in the exhaust causing the CEL?
