DIFFERENT Oily haze on passenger side windows
Not to hijack someone else's thread about window haze.
My 98 XJ has started to cover the passenger side (US spec car, so passenger is on the right) door windows with something - no particular color - it is a bit oily. It starts in the lower corner of the front windshield on the passenger side and pretty much covers the right side front & rear passenger windows. It does
I just cleaned it with some window cleaner wipes, which helps, and there is no particular color (hence a new thread).
Any ideas where I might start to investigate this?
Interestingly enough, I had the AC serviced (charged) at the dealer a week ago. I think the haze was there before hand, but it is getting worse. And, of course, it turns out I need a new left-side (driver side) blower motor - if that is connected at all.

AC working properly? Compressor oil circulates with freon and might be leaking . . . along with the freon. My car had a leak in the expansion valve area inside the climate control housing which would have blown out into the cabin.
