Hi Guys,
Flushed with success on the headrests, I have one more question.
The remote I got with the car doesn't work, and after changing the battery and trying the re-program procedure that was posted here (what a great asset you guys are) I was going to order another from one of the discount web stores.
When I checked the serial numbers with the sellers, they don't match. My local dealer, (300 miles away) would not give me any information only, "bring the car in".
The remote I have is LJE2610-ABwhich the store says is for an 2001 XJ8.The one they say is for my 2000 XJ8 VDP is aLJA2610AA
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
