is there a way to make the horn sound when arming the security system?

 

The security horn should chirp once when locking and twice when unlocking. They're both standard features in the US which can be enabled/disabled by anyone with dealer level tools (WDS, IDS, and so on).

Does your security alarm work at all? If the alarm isn't working then that could be why you don't get lock/unlock chrips. Try pressing the headlights button on your keyfob 3 times in less than 3 seconds. You should hear a countdown chirp sequence and then a hell of a loud alarm afterwards.

 

theres a chirp but the regular horn doesn't sound when arming only when the alarm goes of the horn will honk
