1998 XJ8--Someone borrowed my car over the weekend and now my driver seat does not go forward when I use the memory buttons or when I insert the key. I have reset the memory buttons and all the other functions on them work fine (mirrors, steering wheel). The biggest problem with this is that when I turn the car off the seat goes all the way back so I can get out but when I get back in and insert the key it used to go forward to the last position I had it at but now it doesn't so I have to adjust the seat everytime I get in and out. (PS: I have reprogrammed the electronic key fob also) the problem still exists.
