Default Engine sump oil leak

Hi
So my oil sump was weeping oil from the front of the seal, not much but anyway, i did the job while changing oil and replaced the seal with uro stuff, (while removing old seal found someone treated the place with the silicone previously so i'm not the first trying to fix it). did the job, called the day and now after few months i see it is weeping quite more then before, looks like i'm back under the car again.
So why properly cleaned installed and torqued to spec seal keeps leaking? is it dodgy uro part, bend sump (doesn't looks like) or maybe engine block (too far fetched)?
Yes it is sump seal not crank oil seal or anything around.
Thx

I'm assuming you are referring to the oil pan seal? Probably the same thing. I have also had this issue, except from the rear of the oil pan seal. I also used a URO seal and torqued it down to spec in the correct pattern. It is a slow weep (no visible dripping) but still annoying. I use synthetic oil and hear that is more prone to leaks.

if you’re too lazy to fix it, try supertech 5w30 high mileage synthetic or similar. it has seal swellers that help with these kinds of leaks

Anduha, yes i meant oil pan, unless i'm mistaken, using synthetic may cause issue on seals if there was mineral used previously, it shouldn't do on new seal,
Xalty, once upon the time my ps was leaking and i used lucas ps stop leak on it, incrementally, it did the great job at first but after a year or two, all system swelled and i had to replace all pipes and seals there, no more stop leaks for me
I will just just replace the seal, it is not a big hassle, but wanna understand where is the problem and make sure this time it will last.
