Can any one help me with this intermittent fault.
Whilst my 2000 xjr is in System Checking Mode on starting, I get these error messages. ASC not available. TRAC not available. Engine failsafe mode. And of course the engine cranks over but will not fire. Also sometimes the Rev counter swings up to 2000 revs. Usually i return the ignition switch to Off and try again and it fires with no error messages. It now takes several attempts to fire and its starting to annoy me.
I would really appreciate any ideas to resolve this problem.

 

Kinda hard to diag over the internet. But cud be loosing ground at the abs module . The grounds are right behind the module they get green. You shud go get codes read.
