Hey Jaguar world. I just got my oil changed, brakes done, and a new pass by hose. I'm excited because I'm looking to get my timing chain tensioners fixed here in a few days! I can't wait to post a pic and let you get a look at my new baby- i'm slowly but surely falling.

 

I've got the same car =) what's the color of the car?

 

The color is saphire blue. I pulled up at the jag dealership in it and the guys inside said it caught their eyes pulling through the lot. One of the employees who owns a 2001 xjr said as long as he's worked there he'd never seen a saphire blue one of that 98 year- so that made me feel special, of sorts. But yeah man it's a beautiful car and color. Hey thanks for the interests. How's yours treating you, hopefully good?

 

Cool. I actually really like the sapphire blue color. I've got the racing green color. It loooks pretty cool, but the paint is a little bit worn down in a few areas, so i'm thinking i'm going to have it repainted or at least touched up. My car's been running fine since I got it (in terms of the engine)

 

You've got my favourite colour for the XJR! Honourable mentions to BRG and Carnival Red, and maybe Mistral Blue...
