Extended warranty's

I recently purchased a 1999 XJR, it has 31,000 miles on it so I would like to purchase an extended warranty while I still can. Any suggestions on company's and what I might pay?

Who ever you might go with, expect to pay about $1500 - $2000. As for the company, I'm sure someone else can help you out...sorry!

The cost is dependent upn the warranty company, length of coverage and parts covered. I have a Jaguar Extra Mile Warranty with exclusionary coverage (it's excellent). However, you wont qualify for that because of the age of the car. Whatever warranty company you look at be sure to read EVERYTHING! Often, what the big print giveth, the fine print taketh away. For a '99 you want to be sure that it covers the engine internals and doesnt specifically exclude the cylinder wall (Nikasil) problem.
