Default ford part#'s for primary chain guides for 4.0dohc single roller chain

I need to confirm that I ordered the correct parts. My car is a 98 vdp with 4.0. Does ford part# 2w92-6k297-ab(I ordered 2 of) for one or both guides? Am I correct that the right and left bank use the same part #'s. I just need to make sure, am I dealing with four(one for each guide),two(inner and outer guide)or one(2guides sold as one part) number(s)?

In other words, if I want to order all four primary guides from ford what part #'s do i order and how many?

Here is the Ford part numbers and quantities that have been circulating for a couple years. Prices may be a little out of date but still substantially below any Jaguar supplier for the same parts.

I just noticed that the quantities for the primary tensioners are wrong. The quantity should be one of each part number.

Testpoint, That is the list I used and just realized I ordered twice as many primary tensioners as I needed. I hope I can return them without to much trouble or cost. what I wasn't sure is how ordering 2 of 2w92-6k297-ab(guide) gets me four guides.

I will confirm when I get my parts but it seems that the quantity is correct. what is wrong are the descriptions, from what i can tell:

zw92-6k297-ab is guide without tensioner
zw92-6L253-aa is not tensioner as list says, but the guide that tensioner pushes on

If someone knows better let me know.I will update when I confirm.

yup i got the correct parts, the above is confirmed description is what is off---- 9-23-2010

did you replace the primary tensioners and if so did you need to reinstall the old backing plates that the plastic tensioners used?
