Oh I'll try to set the car in test mode again if I'm right I need to press the trip reset and hold down before I start the car then I start the car and continue to hold down until the display shows test? I'll let you know if it works.

 

well just tried to get my instrument cluster in test mode and was unable to, I reset my trip and it worked I tried several times but it never went to test mode.*is there a voltage
or something I should reading on the connectors going into the fuel level sending unit? and if so where does it come from? I live in Kingman AZ and its about 150 miles to any dealer and I wouldn't trust anyone here as I have had trouble in the past.

 

Does anyone know how to change the Knock Sensors on xj8 body 308. If so, can you explain it to me or send me more information.
