FYI: Stereo Head Unit Electric Shock Risk
I left the radio installed during the tear down of my car for entertainment as I worked.
I decided the ground strap from the back of the tape deck was something I wanted to keep, so in the toolbox it went.
As it turns out, an ungrounded head unit will electrify everything from the dash to the shifter and shock you if you turn the radio on and touch metal.
