Gaskets and seals
Greetings everyone. I just bought a 2003 XK8 with 36k miles and had it checked out by my mechanic. The shock mounts need replaced along with oil seal leaks at rear axles, and transmission. My question is; are there replacement gaskets, seals, mounts that are of superior quality to the originals/ Thanks, ron

You are posting in the X308 side of the forum. However, the X308 and X100 share a lot of the same drivetrain. To answer your question though, it's not so much the quality of the seals and gaskets that counts (it does but just bear with me) it's the person that's installing them. That's the most important thing.

Diff output seals? Usually oem is the quality choice but those bearings are nla, not sure if you can get the seals themselves. If oil is blowing out the sides of the diff then it could be something like a clogged vent tube
