Default Was going to torque the 4 smaller bolts that hold the engine heads down

On the passenger side I was torquing the top front bolt, m10 I believe, not actual engine head bolts. And right when I got the torque setting to 18 ft pounds it snapped. So all the thread is still in there, anyone have any ideas on extracting this without having to remove the head?

For me that's head off and stud extractor, but there must be a tool around to get it out?

Head bolts, and that's one, are 2 use and throw away, they stretch as they're wasted bolts. Are there any with center pop marks on the heads?

i took the head off and I was able to extract it. That's weird because the guy who rebuilt my heads screwed up and I had to take off the heads twice and bring them back and he told me I could reuse the head bolts twice or 3 times.
