i have a 2004 jaguar XJ8 without navigation-do you know if the car comew ore-wired to convert over to navigation
i know you need the navi in the trunk-but as im asking if i got the navi screen and part in trunk
can i just plug in and good to go or cannot be done

You'd really be better off just ignoring the factory option, and buying something new. For one, convenience; You can place it in better view, it'll be FAR easier to operate, and will have a much better display. Second, you'll be woefully out of date using a factory unit, whereas new ones will be current, and most have options to download updated maps as time goes.

All that said, you have an 04, so you would probably have better luck in the X350 forums . Someone there might have an idea about pre-existing wiring.
