Headlight + Jetwash = fail. Suggestions pls
Two weeks ago I bought an 98 XJR Sport. Drove back home at night 100 miles headlights working all ok. Next day had the car jet washed and straight after noticed passenger side low beam not working.
I pulled all fuses and relays, bulbs but seems ok on the outset but lamp still not working but after two days after having it jet washed it was working again and has been working until yesterday after having another jet wash!
On this occasion as before low beam on passenger side not working but to add to the problem. full bean not working on passenger side and even the small park bulbs are out until putting back onto low beam.
I took a quick look and feel around for loose wires but I didn't see anything obvious to the cause of this problem.
Does anyone have suggestion to the possible cause of this shining issue.
Thanks for replies in advance.

Hi Yappa,
First of all welcome to the forum - I think you will find us one of the friendliest bunches of Jaguar fans on the net :-)
If I could point you towards a couple of things it will help you find someone to help you on here much quicker..
First of all I would suggest you setup a signature listing your car details which will help anyone seeing a message instantly know what model, year, and spec you have.. goto user CP from the menus near the top (under your login name at the top right) and edit signature to do that..
and secondly you will find placing this post in the following area, rather than in the UK specific area will generate much better responses from other members who have or know your car.. XJ ( X308 ) XJ8 / XJR - Jaguar Forums - Jaguar Enthusiasts Forum
Please enjoy your time online here - there is always events going on, people here to help you, or that may have problems you can help them with.. any problems or queries please feel free to pm me on here :-)
