Anyone know of a good place for headliner replacement in the Los Angeles/San Fernando Valley area? I've got a few places in mind, but always prefer a referral. I'm concerned for my sunroof, as history has shown, they are prone to brake quite easily.

headliner replaced here in the bay area at a cost of 180 to drop the headliner and another 45 for the non-factory cloth. it was almost a perfect match, they had 55 to choose from.

my sunroof had issues before the headliner fix, a clip broke but i cant seem to find the clip, instead it seems i need to buy the entire assembly for 400 bucks. going to hold off for now as i just replaced the water pump and want her on the road again. good luck.

 

Make sure they use original thickness 1/8 inch foam backed headliner. Any thing thicker and the sunroof will be an issue.

If you are a DIY see WIS Headliners on the net, they carry 1/8 inch headliner. ---3 yds of material at $45.00 and 2 cans of 3M 08088 adhesive from walmart for $20.00--- for $65.00 your done.

The 3M adhesive is good up to 180 degrees and will not bleed through lighter colored headliner. You must apply it to the Headboard and the Headliner.

 

Has anyone in the LA area had this done? I'm considering E&C Jr Auto Upholstery but it would be great to have advice from someone who has had their Jag repaired.

 

Try Rauls Auto Trim on Holt in Ontario, he did my 73 XJ6 perfect!
