As the title asks. Where heated seats an option in the North American offered 2002-2003 XJ Sport? Every image I have seen online shows them without heated front seats.
If heated seats were available do the non heated cars have the heating elements in the seats and just need to have the switches upgraded on the console like the regular XJ8?

Heated seats was an option for many models in the XJ series and were standard for certain models ( Vanden plas). Jaguar uses only one wiring harness for the XJ's each year so you will find the wiring for heated seats is there but switches and elements are not. You would need actual heated seats, seat modules and switch panel. From there it is pretty much plug and play.

You might need to install an additional brown relay under the seat but I can't remember if that is required?
If heated seats are installed, they will be fitted FRONT and REAR.
