Default High gearbox Temperature

Getting a high gearbox temp warning.

Car drives/shifts just fine.

Any idea what to check?

There's a temp. sensor that can foul, I had an issue w/ mine following a transmission rebuild. It has to be opened up (as it's part of the internal harness) to be addressed if indeed the issue. I'd check fluid level & quality first though.

Faulty electronic conduct plate or wet connector perhaps. A good opportunity tonchange the atf and filter at the same time.

That fixed that warning for you? I'm assuming that it's located in the pan or above it?
