I bought a temp sensor that is supposed to thread into a certain port (on a GM engine), but it won't fit.

I know on my old LT1 engine ('95 Camaro) that there was a temp sender on the driver's side head AND on the water pump. So it begs the question: were there TWO senders on the Jag engine?

The sender that I have is part number AJ810031.

The AJ27 engine has a temp sensor for the coolant and for the oil.

Okay...I'm just referring to the coolant temp sender. So can I assume by your answer that there is only ONE?
