Default How to seperate octopus hose on A bank side?

Hi there,

With my engine out, I needed to remove the pipe on the A bank side of the engine to undo the octopus hose.

What I can not figure out is, how that side is supposed to come apart!? The other side (B bank) was really straight forward. But I can't see how this is supposed to work!?

Can anyone enlighten me?

Cheers

Damien

Sounds like you have run into the dreaded NORMA connector. Below is a good bit of information for dealing with it.

Yeah, that stupid pos. The little clip snapped off today. Is that little clip really important?

And I still can't get the bugger separated...

Got it off in the end. It was undone all the time, even when driving!

Had to crack it off in the end, as it had rusted on. So octopus hose: ordered.
