Here what happen:
I had to change my battery yesterday, so i took the old one out. Took it to the store and bought a new one (pep Boys-$125). Well i forgit thatmt boot keyhole does not work and.........i shut he trunk (what a dummy!). There is no power to open the trunk like before, therefore no boot access! No new battery intall!

I tried the other suggestions mentioned on the Site, however i eventually had to go with my initial thought, jump thecar with another or even the new battery from under the hood. Worked like a charm, did not damage anything and i was able to open the boot and install the new battery. I will try to fix that lock at a more convenient time, its cold out there!

 

how did you jump the car from the bonnet area?.. attach positive to the main cable near fender?

As the link says; you can charge the battery or just open the trunk but DO NOT try to start the car with these connections.
