Just thought I'd let the people from Belgium know something important about the Jaguar / Motorola Startac 130 which fits inside the X308 (XJ8, XJ Executive, XJR, ...) and maybe in some other Jaguar models as well. After doing some research I found out they work on the GSM 900 network band. Since I needed a new Sim card I called some providers and they all claimed it would probably work. I bought a sim card from BASE and it didn't work.

Did some research etc, long story short it will only work with a MOBISTAR sim or a PROXIMUS sim card

So don't buy a BASE, Mobile Vikings (=base network) or whatever. I think Telenet uses old Mobistar masts so maybe that will work, but I'm not sure.
