Default Jaguar autotilt problems

So, in my XJ8 when I have the steering wheel set to the auto tilt function I have some annoying problems. First, when you pull the key out the wheel tilts back and the seat slides all the way back. but when you put the key back in the wheel comes back down but the seat doesn't slide forward automatically. Also when I have switch set on auto the yellow Airbag light comes on and it doesn't when the auto setting is not on. Is the seat supposed to slide forward again?

As I recall my XJ8L auto tilt function did return the seat forward to the preset position automatically. My current XK8 certainly does.

The airbag light suggests you could have a harness or seat module fault.

Did you try re-programming the seat memory position for that particular key or remote?

So, I tried reprogramming the seats memory completely on all 3 buttons and I also set the 1st button to my remote. Didn't work still the seat will not come back. all of my buttons on my steering wheel work and never have problems. So, any other fixes ya'll can think of?

Default Wiring....

....deleted initial comment, didnt read the op fully.

Theres a side airbang in the seat, there's a fault in the wiring under the seat, it's 4 torx bolts, then inspect the connectors and wiring you should find the break and fix it easily, hopefully
