Hi and good choice!

I plan on doing the same with my XJ8 once it is totally up to my standards...

Lowering springs are hard to come upon. Either Mina (Mina Gallery) or custom ones (there is a company in GB who makes custom springs for the XJ8 - search eBay.co.uk).

Removal is fiddly. The rear axle isn't the worst part if you remove the struts properly and find that the bolts/nuts aren't rotted. If they are rusty, then it won't be that fun!

The front axle is selfexplaining. No McPherson struts or coil overs... Just standard damper and spring combination.

Make sure you adjust the rear camber (there are little camber plates mounted between the driveshaft and differential flanges!) and check the fronts. An alignment is of course mandatory.

As said, if you look at the suspension setup, it is selfexplaining. And NO, X300 springs will not fit up front. In the rear they will. The fronts should be the same as those from an XK8...

Just seen... You've got an X350 (not X308). The model where the inner headlights are smaller than the outers... You'd be better to ask in a different area here, as the 308 and 350 are two totally different cars...

Recently installed powerhouse.co.uk uprated lowering springs on my XJR, it got down about 25-30mm. However Iam very happy with the result, even if its not low as You might expect, the comfort ans smoothness have also increased! so overally I got lower stiffer and smoother suspensin now.
They can also make lower springs, but they did not reccomend it in terms of comfort.

Now that sounds good!

Have you got a link or is that the Ebay UK seller?
