Yes I just took the ole 1998 XJ8 (85xxx miles) up to get the rear brakes changed. I had purchased this set over 3 months ago. I was guaranteed by all reps there that it would fit my vehicle.

The clips to master cylinder are different from the Jaguar branded brakes that I had on the car. I saw with my own two eyes. I hit up "Autopartswarehouse" where I bought them from, they say i'm wrong, and they will in fact fit. I took a picture, I'd just like someone to confirm that these in fact will not fit and have different metal clips on the back. Thanks guys

Heh well sorry to hear that mate! Yes I actually found the 'kool-vue' address and phone number as they try VERY hard to unlist it. After stating what was up, they agree, those are not the right clips for those pads. Unfortunately no refund can be made as I purchased months ago as an extra set. Not a problem.
You are correct, the clips are not for this vehicle. They will not fit. Good thing for me my rear brakes still have 80% life, so no big loss only $25 for those pads. This is just another example to never go cheap for these rides. Thanks
