Hadn't driven the VDP in so long, I took her for a ride to blow the cobwebs out.

I posted that on social media for jollies & my 1st response was a mad face emoji from my ex-wife, she always loathed my tendency to match jewelry etc. to what car I drove lol. Deep down, I think it was a component of those "irreconcilable differences" in the decree lol.

I have to say, ..to the victor goes the spoils. My ex had a body, but the brain cells were lacking. As long as it was expensive, it was what she wanted. Me, like yourself, I can put clothing, etc... together. She hated me for questioning what she wore...LMAO

From the last 2 posts from Germany, it makes me want the blacked out window trim vs the US version chrome. Perhaps I could get them redone in black chrome and I also want to go with a gun metal grey for my wheels. Though I do like the Montreal's very much, but I'd have them done in gun metal grey as well.

Those 20" Montreal look great on the car.
I was also thinking about getting 20"Detroit or Montreal, do they fit without any (fender) mods?

I love that color on the X308 , The Montreals look great. As for the black trim , I think it accents and contrasts better on your color car than any I've seen.
My car is Anthracite with black leather and originally with Black window trim , changed to chrome. Too much black on black.

But on your color car the black trim really stands out nice and compliments the color . Bella !

I agree, that car looks great. My Montreal's need a refinish as well. But, I'm not sure if I'm going to redo them back to stock finish. For example, I want to get the wheel center bolts powder coated in gold. For dam sure not doing the faces black.

Took some this morning. Still haven't done the paint correction. Car needs PDR work to. With all that, wheel refinish, it should look pretty good.

Out of curiosity, what size tires are you running on those? They seem to fill the arches a little better than usual?

Now that I did the paint correction, took some pics.

Yes I know I need to fix the rear bumper.
