I bought my '03 XJ8 one month ago today and have already put over 4k miles on it. I drove from Florida to Wisconsin and back and the bugs were BAD BAD BAD!!!

So, today I just couldn't take it any more -- I washed and waxed the Jag and it's like having a new car again! Now I don't even care if it rains (and it looks like it will any minute now, of course!).

Every time I drive this car I wonder what took me so long to buy a Jaguar - it's really a great "little" car! LOL

 

We call them "Love Bugs," they are here in Florida in numbers now and in September. They fly "together" while they mate, lol?

Yes I know -- kind of makes you wonder how many there'd be if millions weren't killed by vehicles!

I ruined a new car once by driving it to Florida and getting pelted by love bugs and not washing them off soon enough -- never got them off the front of that car! Bummer! This car must've had a good coat of wax on it because they came right off with a little soap and water.
