Hello Folks,

Does anyone know where I can purchase a new manifold brake booster connector replacement? That connector under the throttle body where that black plastic hose fits in? I can find a number of connectors for X-types and S-types but nothing for the 1999-2003 XJ8 cars. I've tried all the usual online places with no avail.
If someone could point me in the right direction I'd very much appreciate it.

It is C2S15816 (listed for X350 but same as the piece on the X308). Usually, you need to replace just the black plastic piece that locks the vacuum pipe.

 

The special size o ring that comes already installed inside that brass collar needs to be installed in your manifold also.
