Owned a 2003 XJ8(x308) with 58023 miles. The original gear indicator was cracked when I purchased the vehicle. I replaced it with a new one which worked fine for about a month. Now, gear selector only lights up red for park and neutral position position. I purchased and installed an additional gear Selector Illumination Module for Naturally Aspirated engine but the same problem. The part purchased at Jag dealership. Can anyone provide any help what is causing this? I love my beautiful cat! Thanks.

There's 2 lights soldered into the board of that module that fail. There's threads here with the relative info. I used the grain of wheat bulbs in mine they work fine.
