missfiring on a 2000 xj8
Please help....I started my car again after driving about 20 miles and it started missfiring...Cyc's 5,6,and 8 are sending codes that they are missfiring....What could my problem be?......I tried resetting the computer....Think its coils
or wires?.....Please help, its my only car......

Yikes. That's three of four on one side. Check your left side secondary tensioner and chain. You might not have bent the valves YET! Take heed. Don't crank it until you have checked the tensoner.
I gave you a shout and left my number-
You will need to remove the left side valve cover- It is not too bad on a normally aspirated XJ8. Look in the XJ8- XJR forum section and "sticky notes" to get an idea of what I refer to. If the engine ran, although poorly, there is a good chance you have not bent the valves. If the valves are bent, it requires removing the cylinder head to repair, which is a way bigger deal than just fixint the chain tensioner!!!!!
